Harbhajan Singh CSKspinner-off bowler quit IPL season. On Friday, senior spinner-off Harbhajan Singh has quit the IPL 13 tournament confirmed by the spokesperson of Chennai super kings. This is the second high profile name after Suresh Raina who also quit the IPL season 13.
In row two most successful players of the Chennai super kings team have decided to quit the entire season of IPL 13. Harbhajan Singh has decided to exit the IPL 13 edition due to some personal reasons. He informed the Chennai super kings CEO and other management about his decision. The reason for his exit is still unknown but the cricketer requests for privacy.
The 40year old spinner-off bowler was a part of the Chennai super kings team for about 2 years. He was currently in Jalandhar, Punjab with his family and spending quality time with them. The IPL (Indian premier league) will be announced on September 5 and start the match on September 19. The IPL season moved out from India due to a pandemic year and will be held in UAE this year.
Chennai super king management was extremely supportive of his decision.
Harbhajan Singh tweeted that he has informed the management about his decision that he pulled out this year. During this difficult time, he decided to take a break from the season from IPL. I plea to everyone to respect decisions and privacy.
Harbhajan Singh was one of the most successful bowlers in the history of India. He recorded 150 wickets in the Indian cricket matches. He was the spinner-Off in the Indian cricket team but he retired from international cricket matches.
Harbhajan Singh also thinks that retirement in the IPL series after 2020 might be his reason for quitting the 2020 IPL season is his retirement.
